Today we stand on the Eve of Beltaine - Walpurgis Night - May Day - a magical threshold revealing how the mysteries of rebith, unborness & the invisible realms take us thru an infinite portal seen from the inside out & the outside in…
Can you feel how the Fae are stiring in the elements with power & purpose? These spirit-beings, are of a middle nature betwixt the human being & the Angels. For they are creatures of light & energy -of ‘force’ rather than ‘form’ - they can shift their shape as needed, since they are not bound by the laws of the physical world.
In our present age, a new awareness of these beings is reigniting, as folk are awakening to the reality of worlds beyond the limit of the 5 senses. The spirit energies behind Nature are especially potent & accessible during these Cross-Quarter times - & more & more folk are cultivating relationships with the Elemental Beings. These seekers have traditonally been visionaries, poets & artists, but really anyone who is not unduly influenced by the modern materialistic world-view can work with them.
It seems that with the ongoing world swirl, we are especially called to reconnect with these Beings of Light who share our home planet. When we deny, ignore; or even worse, pollute, degrade & lay waste to the land, sea & skies, we are destroying their world, too. We tear apart the exquisitely woven tapestry of all creation.
And so it is that the spiritual beings behind these elements push to bring messages into our consciousness thru the various world crises. A wake-up call urging us to change our ways from living in selfish separateness, to an awareness of our inter-connectedness with all beings, visible & invisible, in the great Web of Life.
Friends, we don’t need exculsive psychic powers to connect with The Fae – just the willingness to open the heart & mind, as a child might do.
Look around, & notice 4 natural things that are calling out to you. Send a vortex of light from the Sun thru your heart & connect with them in the way that each needs. Then extend that connection to everything around you.

3 May - UNION w/ ~hag at the Bridget Center This indoor and outdoor celebration offers the opportunity to learn about how ancient traditions honored this season of greening, bird song, plantings, birth and fertility, and how our old and new traditions and actions can align and contribute to the healing and abundance of the natural world. Learn from storyteller-wisdom keeper-interdenominational minister Hazel Archer Ginsberg about the Celtic tradition of Bealtaine and how other ancient cultures revered these seasonal markers in the Cycle of the Seasons. We will offer gratitude and blessings to the land, soil, plants, and all those that care for and steward the earth and its animals by making and applying biodynamic farm preparations to enliven and restore the soil. We will learn about Bridget’s Gardens, its permaculture design plans and participate in planting perennial native wildflowers, black currants, red osierdogwoods, willows, and elderberries. Come plant with us and take some home too! Clark Stamm (Acting Director of Bridget Center, Permaculturist, and Artist), and Angela Curtes (Grounded LLC and fellow Bridget Center Mission Circle member) will facilitate these activities.
