He was a carin Commemorating Amin Noroozi AHS Blueprint — April 25, 2025 By Blueprint Editorial Team    On Thursday, April 17, 2025, Acalanes High School was notified of the tragic death of Amin Noroozi. He was a caring son, a loving brother, a beloved friend, and a loyal teammate. He embodied the greatest values of this community through his authenticity and joy.     Those who knew Amin knew he interacted with everyone with the same attention and care through his smile and demeanor. His empathetic engagement and presence was a gift to those in his classes, sports teams, and social circles.     Amin was born on Sept. 24, 2007, and was the first child of Ofelia and Payman Noroozi. His sister, Sahar, is a Sophomore at Acalanes High School. Amin's family is known throughout the community for their hospitality and graciousness. The Noroozis own and operate a food truck, Ofie's Kitchen, that has been a fixture at community events in the area.       Amin was a three-sport Varsity athlete. He participated in football, wrestling, and track and field. During his junior football season, Amin wore number 51 and helped his team on both offense and defense throughout his three years on the team. On the wrestling mat, he qualified for the North Coast Section Championship as a junior in his second year on the team. On the track, Amin was a versatile athlete, excelling in both sprinting and throwing events.     On April 18, 2025, the Acalanes community gathered at the stadium for a candlelight vigil. Coaches, family members, and close friends spoke of Amin's courage, character, and joy.     The Lamorinda community will gather for a Celebration of Life for Amin at the Acalanes stadium on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
