I took LSD for the 1st time on the bicentennial, July 4th 1976, right before my 16th birthday. I had just pushed thru the void of my suburban H.S. in less than 3 years to graduate with honors - so I felt free & was compelled to leave my incestuous ticky-tacky suburban home for a Summer-stock gig in Hollywood… So much has changed since then. I am straight edge for many years, the world is my stage - & as an American, I am asking questions. How can we exert our Wisdom-Fortified-Free-Will to co-create a reality that brings out the best in ourselves as Americans, in our neighbors, & for the whole World-Wide-Web of humanity - while also applying graceful ways of riding as well as guiding, the tides of Destiny? Our work as we stand up to the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence, is to awaken our dormant willpower - by aligning with the impulses that greatly informed the US of A in the past - & to what awaits those who can hear the true call of the future – the clarion call of ‘We the people’ - those who will to Reclaim & Renew, each in our own way, our ‘Spirit of Place’ - so that we can build together a Divine Destiny where the ‘Being of America’ is healed & made whole.
We can explore the concept from Spiritual Science of the ‘Folk- Spirit’ of America, as seen from the perspective of the Native Peoples’ – Lady Liberty, Columbia, Goddess of Peace - Guadalupe, Empress of the Americas…
As well as those ‘…tired…poor…huddled masses yearning to breathe free’ that came here to escape oppression – who left their homeland looking for independence from an imperialistic Kingdom -
& Can we reclaim the divinely inspired vision of the ‘Founding Fathers’ inscribed thru the symbols of Freemasonry in the Capital..?
All the while asking: How do we renew this Being of America in our time? - For we are meant to prepare now for the unveiling of the New Isis-Sophia which will have its full expression in the future 7th epoch – so that we might fulfill the True Destiny of America which plays a significant role in that coming age.
It is the present that we still have to heal & unwrap - so let’s broadcast seeds of intention, out into the ethers – We look up & out - in & down - we can follow the clues etched in the land itself - the empty furrows that sound out from the urban food deserts, crying for the amber waves of grain to be reaped in bio-dynamic fields, alive with cosmic & earthly forces. We can till the soil of our hearts by taking up the torch of enlightenment to blaze a trail into regeneration. Yes, Columbia is calling, the Soul of, not only America, but the very heart & soul of humanity, is calling, from the past, the present & the future.
In ‘Leaves of Grass’ Walt Whitman captured the essence of how the spiritual world is seeking to co-create with us. Friends we cannot be the passive ones, letting the blind lead the blind; or the Pollyanna people; nor the doomsayers. We must remove the blindfold from Justice, to stand in our uprightness with clear vision, like Joan of Arc, to say: ‘I am not afraid. I was born to do this’. Then we will be open to receive divine influences that await our participation. ~hag
