The ‘Temple’ is a living metaphor of my inner life - a Spirit-Lodge that I carve into the rough stone of my soul – The hut I hone in the desert of temptation – a Wild-Life Sanctuary - whose edifice rises from the Truth of Conscience, the Beauty of Devotion, & the Strength of Will. Every measured Square - opens a layer of Consciousness - every leveled Grade - is a Threshold challenge - an undertaking to Understanding - Every Hallowed Proportion a reminder - that my soul is a rendering – a Stellar Geometry of my Divine Design. The Foundations of my Temple – laid in the occult regions of my ever-sculpting Moral Being - must stand firm – if intention is to become the bedrock of my Highest Destiny.
I will keep my appointment to meet you in the Temple of: ‘When 2 or more are gathered’ – where you also serve - within the invisible architecture of Heart-Thinking & focused Willing - To actualize the Great Work of Free human beings - in alignment with the Will of the Divine - Etched into the Temple Pillars – writ large in our shared karma. This Temple remains under construction - since the soul can never be a finished monument. Rough impulses, untested desires, & inherited fears, are the unshaped stones delivered to the worksite of my life. Thru discipline, reflection, & ethical honesty, these stones are slowly refined. Patience becomes mortar - Integrity becomes alignment - To Know ThySelf – I become the Master Builder overseeing the labor - a labor of Love.
Each challenge faced with Objectivity & Courage sets another Corner-Stone in place - Each moment of Truth strengthens the structures within - & each act of Compassion – for myself, & for you - carves Beauty into the assembly. The Tools of the Builder are the cryptograms I invoke into my Holy of Holies - Reminding my Grail-Seeker-Self - that Spiritual growth requires Consecration & Commitment. When my inner Temple is unorganized, thru distraction, or bad habits, my soul feels fragmented, like a rickety scaffolding – a blurry blue print without design.
But when I accept the sacred duty of the Master Builder, forgiving all trespasses - a quiet order begins to emerge – reflected in the tools upon the Elemental Altars – Sympathy & Antipathy become pointers in the lesson - giving voice to the work. Unease softens into clarity of purpose - & a subtle Sun begins to illumine my inner chambers.
The Divine Presence does not descend upon an edifice; it awakens as a dawning within my soul - a chosen light that builds itself in Harmony with the Higher Law of Love in Wisdom. The Temple is not just somewhere I go - to serve. It is something I become. ~hag
