Still keeling in the sumptuous embrace of the Archangel-Goddess Italia Turrita, the adventures continue, as we make our way back to ‘La Grassa Dotta Rossa’ = Bologna, & home. The Return to visit the living & the dead in Montefegatesi ever flashing in my soul - like the sweeping vistas out the car window - Archetypal – yet just out of reach – Cobwebs that tangle past my incestuous father, spiking closer now to the spinner at the center. I look away. Instead, I ruminate as we curve along: Who is this Giordano Bruno, of the “Free Thinkers Society“? Rudolf Steiner speaks a lot about this Italian philosopher, mathematician & astronomer, who made a middle way between the Copernican & the geocentric Ptolemaic Systems. “Giordano Bruno pointed beyond the supposed limits of space to endless worlds embedded in its vast expanses… He looked out into space and realized that every gaze that looks out, sees infinity, and where the eye perceives a boundary, there is actually nothing…” ~Rudolf Steiner While stranded at the airport I decide to do some research - I love a good biography – it gives profound insights into karmic history, as well as a mirror to the Self. Giordano Bruno entered the Dominican Order at a young age. Despite his monastic life, Bruno’s inquisitive mind soon led him into conflict with the dogmatic teachings - which ultimately led to his being burned at the stake by the Roman Catholic Church, making him a martyr for free thought. He believed in the existence of a Divine, Infinite Spirit that pervades all of Nature, a concept that aligned more closely with Pantheism than with the monotheism of the Church. Bruno was as much a mystic as a scientist, blending his cosmological theories with metaphysical & spiritual speculations. His radical ideas about the universe, & his defiance of religious dogma - His practical Kabbalistic Hermeticism, Thaumaturgy, Mysticism, & Gnosticism, made him one of the most controversial figures of the Renaissance – leaving a deep imprint on Philosophy. His commitment to the pursuit of knowledge, even in the face of persecution, has made him an enduring symbol of the fight against censorship & dogmatism. His ideas also resonate with a cosmology, which continues to explore the vastness & complexity of the universe. My work as a Spiritual Scientist strongly relates to this worldview. I also have experience with being labeled a heretic - & yeah, there is a smoky overlay from the burned at the stake thing, which still lingers for me. I have always related to my Strega Nona as a ‘Free Thinker’ & can understand why my Grandparents were part of the “Giordano Bruno Free Thought Society”. But now, as I digest my journey into ‘The Italian Connection’, I am more consciously able to see how the shadow-side of my Nona also lives in me – the strong will of her bossy matriarchal dominance – the anger, frustration & intolerance. Did this manifest as ‘abuse’ on my father - the youngest child - sensitive & artistic - unable to communicate with his father because the old man never learned to speak English? - & by the time my dad was born, it was insisted that the baby be ‘American’, creating a gulf between him & the rest of the family… Could what I have learned to call ‘the sins of the fathers’ stem back in the Lucchesi line to the angst of the Matriarch? And am I carrying her shadow still – on top of the incest? Yes, I call it incest because when I was younger, I justified it by saying O the gods were always incestuous – look at Isis & Osiris…etc…It was Divine – I was ‘special’ – But like my father it separated me from my family – from everything earthly & human. I have done a lot of inner development Pychosophy work around this – But I still struggle with the good, & the evil imprint of my Strega Nona. I believe we are all meant to heal heredity – not pass it on – to take the good, & transform the rest. With all this in heart & mind - as soon as we landed back in America, a whirlwind of change sweep us into a manifestation of metamorphosis – whipwap - We sold our house of over 25 years in Chicago! & Today 28 October 2025 we officially closed on our new home with 6 acres in Spring Prairie WI. Just 7 minutes from Zinniker Farm! And so now, even as CG is out in WI, & I prepare to leave tomorrow morning for our Annual All Souls Temple workings with Mysteria Mystica Americana in Texas - I am also actively reaching out to my Father, & my Strega Nona on the Other-side with love & light – knowing it will reflect back to me & out into the world ethers we all share -the Truth, Beauty & Goodness that is our collective human birthright. And so it is, that as the work continues, I hereby end this series: ~Confessions of a Modern Rosicrucian - The Italian Connection Canto I: Air Trial Arrival Canto II: The Crowned Madonna, Exorcism, & Heart-Art Canto III: Circle Dances in a Karmic Stream Canto IV: Meteoric Metalliferous Thermal Waters Canto V: Unity in Community Canto VI: A True Story of Then… Canto VII: The Return Canto VIII: The Living & The Dead Canto IX: At the Center of the Web For the stalwart reader I leave you with this quote from Rudolf Steiner furthering the Rosicrucian connection with Giordano Bruno: The Spiritual Guidance of the human being and of Humanity Lecture IV “Then came Giordano Bruno, equipped with the thoughts of Copernicus, looked out into the universe and proclaimed: ‘What you have called the limit of space, what you have put down as the eighth sphere, which spatially limits everything - that is no limit! That is maya, illusion! For there is a myriad of worlds poured into world space. What you previously believed to be the boundary of space was only the boundary of your own sensory world, the boundary of your own cognition. Look beyond the world of the senses, no longer look at the world as the senses show it! Then you will recognize infinity! - This was the great moment of which a Nordic spirit said that the egg shell broke when Giordano Bruno sensed the infinity of space. What does spiritual science do? What is Rosicrucian Anthroposophy doing? It completes the work that was then done for external physical science by saying: Maya, illusion is what external science can recognize. Just as you used to look as far as the “eighth sphere” and believed space to be limited, so today’s materialistic thinking believes the human being to be trapped between birth and death. Spiritual science, however, expands your view beyond birth and death – spatially, temporally, like Giordano Bruno, to that which is beyond what the senses can perceive between birth and death. It is a closed chain that takes place there. And in the true sense of the word, what was carried out as a preparation for space by Copernicus and Giordano Bruno already emerged from the inspirations of the Rosicrucians. It was not known that something was mysteriously trickling into the guidance and leadership of humankind under the inspiration of the Rosicrucians! But those who today stand on the ground of Giordano Bruno and Copernicus, many do not want to accept Anthroposophy, they are being unfaithful to their own traditions by wanting to hold on to the semblance of meaning. And yet today we can hear it in a conscious way from Rosicrucian Anthroposophy: Just as Giordano Bruno broke through the blue vault of heaven, so the clairvoyant breaks through the boundaries of birth and death for the human being by showing how the macrocosmic human being lives in physical existence, and through death re-enters a macrocosmic existence. And what we see in each individual human being to a limited extent, we encounter on a large scale in the great cosmic representative, in Christ Jesus. And this impulse, which the Christ gave, could only be given once. Only once could the whole cosmos be reflected in this way; for this constellation, as it existed at that time, will not come again. This constellation had to work through a human body so that it could give the impulse on earth. As true as this same constellation does not occur a second time, so true is it that the Christ came to incarnate only once! The Christ is the representative of the whole universe, we can rise to the high, noble idea of Christ, for which the elements are only now being given. So we see how a Christ-idea, of that Christ-entity, springs from the Anthroposophy of the Rosicrucians, which teaches the human being kinship with the whole macrocosm, in a renewed way.” Blessings dear kinderd - see you on the otherside of daylight saving time ~hag 29 October - 3 November 2025 - Our Annual All Souls, members gathering, at the Mysteria Mystica Americana Grand Lodge Temple in TX USA 6 – 9 pm Saturday 8 November 2025 – Save the Date ‘cause this is our last big bonfire-prep-stir-pot-luck-communal gathering at the Lucchesi-Archer-Ginsberg homestead! We sold our house - & we’re moving to WI – around the corner from Zinniker Farm!RSVP Hazel@CogRite.com Zinniker Farm has harvested Biodynamic Pfeiffer Wheat - If you are interested in signing up to receive a share of the harvest - Supplies are limited - Contact the Family Farm Initiative Here’s the link to a compendium of Free Video PresentaionsIf you want to support the Spiritualization of the Earth thru the Biodynamic Farming done on Zinniker Farm, you are invited to become a paid subscriber, with all donations going directly to the farm Greetings Friend, you currently a free subscriber to Cognitive Ritual.
