The Acapella program uses the money raised to fund its budget and expand opportunities, hoping to be able to attend more events with their funding. "We're going to have more and more concerts to go to every year because the budget's just going to increase, " Rajguru said. Members of Acapella practiced every Friday during lunch, learning new songs and taking advantage of the opportunity to get to know each other. Along with benefiting the singers, some also view the winter singing grams as a way to bring the community together. Some students sent winter grams with jokes as their notes. "It's the way you can cause people joy and embarrassment all at once. It's really funny. And also, especially the notes people add are super funny as well," Rajguru said. |
