Something happened the other day. I did something that I have never done in my many years of living. I was in shock I did it and so was Pat. I am thinking the fire from the recent conference had something to do with it. 😊
I now and then cook mixed veggies, white onions, yellow and orange bell peppers, and zucchini together. I cook it to where it's not tender enough that it's mush but just enough to where it is tender.
Well, the other morning I made a big pot of the veggies. I then grabbed a plate and put some on the plate. I made my way to my chair, sat down, and took a bite of it, but something was off. It was needing something. I didn't want salt nor pepper. I got up, went back into the kitchen, and stood there a moment and that's when it happened! I turned and saw a bottle of something, I picked it up and thought "That's it!"
I have never, ever used it in my food. I had it here for Pat, but she had not even opened the bottle. I opened the bottle and shook some of it on my veggies and started to eat. It tasted so good and set my mouth on fire, but I felt I had to have it, it was Tabasco sauce. I then shocked myself the next day and not only put some on my veggies. Later I cooked some fries and I put some of it in a little cup and dipped my fries in it.
If you told me just a few days ago that I would be putting hot sauce on my food I would have given you a very strange look. I then would have said yea right, NOT! Nothing is impossible that's for sure!
"With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26).
