(1) Slept unusually well last night, from around 11:30 till 7. It might be because I had such a good run yesterday morning. I've noticed throughout my days that if I have a good workout in the morning I am more likely to sleep well at night. For both running and sleeping, I am grateful.
(2) It was 2.3 miles that I ran yesterday morning, after a set of pushups. Best of the morning runs since I've been back at it. There's something about running and mornings that just go together.
(3) When I stopped to stretch at the 0.9 mile mark, I ran into a bicyclist who rides from Pullman WA to Moscow ID every morning to get a coffee drink at the One World Cafe. I've ridden back to Pullman with him once. Jerry always rekindles my love of bicycles.
(4) Made it to the Safeway to use up my gift card before it expired today. Got $25 worth of food, so I should be okay till I get paid. Also when they saw me paying with an Idaho Food Card at the Co-Op, they had me fill out a form that now permits me to get 20% off anything I purchase there. That will really help with my food bill this month.
(5) Finally had a long talk with my neighbor across the hall. Turns out she and I have a lot in common--even to the point of a dual ADHD and PTSD diagnosis. We also shared our views on the local community--pros and cons. I feel like I have found a new friend.
