Dear Ella
Sorry for the delay in replying to your last. Life here has been very busy.
Yes – the airwaves are buzzing with news of the general election on 4th July which is presumably why Station 366 recent performances have been nudged off the front pages. We sent an apology to Taylor Swift because of a potential clash of dates with our Friendly Invasion play but luckily she is coming to the UK in June and will be in Italy and Germany when we run our show in July. So, the impact on her ticket sales is less dramatic than it might have been.
We have had a rush of new policy announcements and Aunt Dora mistakenly thought the over 70s would have to undertake National Service in order to quality for the triple lock plus pension. She and Alfred have hired a personal trainer to ensure they are fit enough to cope with the demands of life in the military!!
I have been suffering recently following an insect bite which made my knee swell to twice its usual size and has given me joint and muscle pain for the last month. Apparently, some insects inject an anaesthetic alongside the actual bite so you don't realise until too late what is happening. I think politicians try to employ the same strategy at general elections.
Luckily here in Station 366 land we don't need to administer anaesthetic to our audiences. We even get an escort to our gigs nowadays.
Love to all
Fiona
