The hardest action of being a Christian is the walk of faith. The faith which looks past the sight of our eyes, the hearing of our ears, the feelings of our senses, the moods of our emotions. The sight and hearing of the Christian's eyes, ears, senses, and emotions are experiencing the same things as non-christian's eyes, ears, senses, and emotions. However, we are called to go beyond the physical to the spiritual. Paul exhorted us to not be troubled by the world's behaviors and blasphemies, but to look past them by faith in a never changing God.
"For we walk by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV
The faith which understands that the never changing God is faithful. Let us understand Scripturally that God never stops men and women from committing sin but God judges the sinner. Christians must look past the evil to faith in the faithful God.
"But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one." 2 Thessalonians 3:3 NKJV
Let the words of the hymn "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" strengthen your walk by faith not by sight.
