Hi,
I am struggling this year for the holidays to give out gifts. I am offerings handmade gifts. Lanyards, 5x 7 zipper pouches, tote bags, plastic bag dispenser, scrunchies, and other small gifts.
I am also listing my wish list from Amazon for people who wants to buy my gifts: My Wish List.
I made a bunch of lanyards. I have a few left but most are gone. I also made some trivets/potholders. This things from above some were requested and some no one care about. I am done with the gift giving. Now it's time for resolutions.
Resolutions. I don't know if there are resolutions but plans for the new year. I want to start my material inventory for COG calculations. I need to start my inventory to sell. I am joining a couple of galleries to sell my art work and create monthly for that inventory. I think it is time to create another passive income with art listening. Let companies borrow my art for reproduction. Get my bookkeeping on track and file taxes. Finally, I want this year to push me into a person who can be self-sufficient with my income.
I know that this sounds ambitious but I also need to write a business plan to make it start happening. It is time to stop playing around with starting a biz and actually do it. I am 52 and if I don't make this happen now, I never will. I have been getting emotional support from my friends and family but people that isn't enough. People don't realize that as a collective, we should all support small biz and all the people we already know. That's how the rich do it. They invest in each other to help themselves grow. We should do the same. Now that's a resolution, support all the artists that I know physically by going to shows and financially even if it is something small that I buy.
Happy New Year.
