Soon we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving, preparing for Christmas and experiencing colder weather. It's a "no-theme" month, but that doesn't mean we won't be pursuing God! I pray that the Holy Spirit will lead each of our authors to participate, to listen to His Word, and to follow His leading. My Sunday School class is beginning a session about perseverance. I often see the dark, cold season of winter as a time to just hibernate and endure. That's probably not the best attitude. I'm hoping this year to see these months as an opportunity to plant and nurture some seeds of faith. How can I prepare my soil? What growth do I want to see sprouting in the Spring? Can I pray more?
