It was a busy night last night, maybe that's why I am tired today. 
I had five dreams in the five hours that I slept. God blessed me with remembering all five. When I woke up, I saw it was 12:54. I picked up my notebook and wrote down the dreams. I know it only took me about fifteen minutes, if that, to write them down. When I finished and looked at the clock and an hour had gone by, it was 1:54am. I don't know what all happened during that hour, but God does. He decided to do more than just the dreams during that time.
I've had that happen before, sometimes God blesses me with a vision and when it's over an hour or two has gone by. Sometimes I know what happens and sometimes I don't. I have spoken to others who have experienced the same thing. It's different for sure and I am grateful that God allows me to experience such things.
Spend time with Him, listen for His voice, read His word, talk to Him. He is listening and wants to spend time with you. You could be missing out on something beyond your thoughts by not giving God some of your time each day.
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:8-9).
