Today 2nd August in year 1990 Iraq invaded Kuwait, even after 33 years the wounds are yet to be healed.
Synopsis:
Iraq invaded Kuwait on 2nd August 1990. The Emir of Kuwait fled away to Saudi Arabia leaving behind his rich legacy and huge wealth.
After invasion, Iraqi soldiers were killing, raping and mutilating hundreds of civilians in Kuwait City. The city shrouded in thick smoke from more than 500 oil wells set afire by Iraq.
Saddam Hussein orders his commander-in-chief Yasser Abadi to rob tonnes of gold and jewellery hidden in the palace and transport it to Baghdad.
Yasser Abadi takes the help of war correspondent Jannat Yusufzai the challenge before them was where to find that treasure in the palace which is spreaded in 137,000 sq.ft with 7 gates in 7 different directions...?
Only one man can help them was Gopal Shenoy very senior and loyal employee of the Emir.
Indian foreign minister I.K Gujral met Saddam Hussein in Iraq to help them to evacuate Indians from Kuwait, will he be able to persuade him...?
