Wow! Every time I think I cannot be moved and be more in awe it happens again, and this morning was one of those times. It's like there are no words to describe what happened but I will try.
I get tears in my eyes every time I think about it, because of something that happened this morning. It's beyond words what I was shown while I was spending my alone, quiet time with God.
I suddenly had a vision this morning. I saw a young girl, she was on her knees looking upward, there was something up in the space in front of her. There was a bright light coming from the area she was looking at and the light was engulfing the area around her. I then saw what it was, well, who it was, it was Jesus. That's when I realized something, it was revealed to me who the young girl was, it was me! I thought when I was 15 years old, but the Lord quickly corrected me and said "No, age 14."
He was showing me, bringing back a dream, an encounter I had when I was fourteen years old. I did not remember the encounter at all until now! As He brought the dream, the encounter back to me it started to come flooding back. He also said something to me then, when I was 14. He said, "Call out to me I will show you great and mighty things." The awesome thing is this morning after being shown this I looked up at the clock to see what time it was. I started to laugh and smile, it was 3:33am!
I only know one verse and I only know it in Janice version, it's Jeremiah 33:3. It stuck in my mind from the start, from the time I open my heart and life to God. Now I know why that verse is so special to me, because of that encounter. One I did not remember at age 14 until now because He brought it back to me, reminded me of it. All I can say is WOW!!!
"Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish." (Jeremiah 33:3).
