We ended the week on a high in P3-7 with an 'Oreo Olympics' run by Ms Leang in assembly this morning! Who knew there was a dedicated Oreo day?! Lots of staff took part and were cheered on by a very enthusiastic audience. Well done to all the competitors (who enjoyed eating the Oreos throughout the competition) and thanks to Ms Leang for always putting on an entertaining assembly!
Elsewhere in school we have had author visits from Lindsay Littleson, P6 ballet workshops, Team PE and P3 developed the game 'Dance Mode' in honour of Bluey being one of Comic Relief's official partners and P2 have taken their new writing books home – they're always writing!
Next week we are looking forward to celebrating Red Nose Day and 'dressing for joy'. We'll have a comedy store, a joke hunt and a dance station on the basketball court!
It may be snowy but the sun is shining and spring feels like it's just around the corner. Despite that, there are severe weather warnings over the weekend so please take care whatever you are doing.
Mrs Ketchin, Head Teacher
