[New post] Why would you want to be a copy when you were made to be an orignal?

Don't try to be something you were not made to be. Don't try to be like someone else. That's not who God wants you to be. That's not who God made you to be. God knows what gift is best for you and it takes us all serving God in order to help advance His kingdom here upon earth. When you focus on who others are, coping their ways, you will lose some of who God is wanting you to be. Grow, learn about your God given gifts/talents. You possible may have a gift/talent that you didn't not know was there.
My God given gifts/talents were always being a giver and server. Yet, once I gave my heart to God and as time went by and I got closer to in Him. A gifting came I didn't know I had. God reveals things to me. Sometimes he reveals what's on people's hearts. Sometimes He reveals their thoughts. Sometimes He shows me things they have done, are doing or things they want to do. Sometimes He reveals people's pain and the things they went through. With some people it brings tears to my eyes because I feel their pain or see the pain and suffering they went through.
I believe God does this so I can relate to them. So, I can speak a word to them that God is wanting them to hear or maybe speak to them about something only they and God knows. Sometimes He reveals it to me so I can pray for them. The thing is, I see more than people know because God reveals a lot to me. I hear more than people know because God tells me things. I also notice more than people know because God many times has me watching so I can see. I've had people tell me they wish they had the same gift, but I quickly tell them they may want to think twice about that. I also say God knows what gift is best for each one of us.
Like I said at the beginning. Don't try to be a copy of someone else. Be who God has made you to be. Serve Him in the way He is calling you. Listen for voice and His guidance. Why would you want to be a copy when God made you to be an orignal? Keep your eyes focused on God because when you focus on man, you have taken your eyes off of God.
Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on Godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]."
Romans 12:4-8 "For just as in one [physical] body we have many parts, and these parts do not all have the same function or special use, so we, who are many, are [nevertheless just] one body in Christ, and individually [we are] parts one of another [mutually dependent on each other]. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to use them accordingly: if [someone has the gift of] prophecy, [let him speak a new message from God to His people] in proportion to the faith possessed; if service, in the act of serving; or he who teaches, in the act of teaching; or he who encourages, in the act of encouragement; he who gives, with generosity; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy [in caring for others], with cheerfulness."
