I was just thinking about a saying. "The grass is always greener on the other side." That sounds good to many but if people knew what all may happen if they were to get to the other side. They may wish they never even knew about it.
Some may look at others who dress in high price clothes, who drive expensive vehicles, who live in big homes and think they wish they were them. What they don't see, may be the many work hours that go into having those things. They don't see that many may miss out on family events. They don't see that even when the person takes time off, many times, they are still working. They don't see that for some, they may be in deep debt. They don't see maybe the family problems or other things that happen. Whether it's in a business, a ministry, someone's home or other places. Unless you are walking in their shoes, the grass may not always be greener.
Philippians 4:11 "Not that I speak from [any personal] need, for I have learned to be content [and self-sufficient through Christ, satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or uneasy] regardless of my circumstances."
