May any heaviness you are carrying; pain, rejection, unforgiveness, hurt, anger and other thing be let go of before the New year starts. May you see who you truly are in God and come to know the God given gifts He has blessed you with. May you spend more time with Him, and may you hear His voice in the many ways He speaks. May any illness, disease or injury be healed in the mighty name of Jesus and may you feel His loving arms always around you. May the year two thousand and twenty-two be a year of blessings for you and a year of coming to know the Lord in a way you never thought you could.
We cannot start something new when we are carrying something old. It's like the verse 2 Corinthians 5:17 says. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]."
