Never seems the days are sunny
Never seems the sun is bright
Never seems my life is stable
Can't seem to put up a fight

The seasons have all lost their charm
The days all run together
I'm trying to hold on to you
To live our love forever

But I know I gotta try
Got to be there for you
To be always by your side
To treasure time spent with you
Don't wanna break your heart
Though I'm no longer the same
Cause I know I gotta try
To stay in this game

Never seems my luck's in favor
Can't seem to shake the loss
Of time, of fears, of the younger years
When I knew I was the boss

But my timing just isn't right
Can't feel what I used to feel
Can't be who I thought I could
Seems life's smashed me under its heel
