With Good Friday, the bearing of JC has shifted. Here in the quiet grove of Gethsemane on the Mount of Olives, where he has so often gathered with his disciples for intimate teaching, Jesus must now withstand the dangerous attack of an unseen enemy in utmost loneliness. The communion he has just established in the Upper Room - the new community he has sactified, cannot help him in this dark hour. It is only the woman who are awake, holding sacred space while He faces the ultimate trial before His great deed. Starting at the Baptism, the power of the Cosmic Christ condensed His essence down from the Godhead, thru the Angelic Hierarchies of the Zodiac & the Wandering Stars, descending from the Sun, down to earth to fit into a human body – The Incarnation didn’t happen all at once – For 3 years this heavenly Being of Love made the sacrifice to gradually penetrate down into earthly Incarnation - 1st He replaced the Ego of the Zarathustra Jesus within the body of Jesus of Nazareth; then The Christ force moved-in to shape His Buddha-like astral body, diving further into His pure Nathan-soul auric body of life forces, & was now on Good Friday almost fully incarnated into the physical sheath – It was a process of 3 years – This Cosmic fire from the Godhead imprinting into these sheaths had just about consumed the human vessel to ashes over that time – What still has to be suffered & completed now demanded so much strength that there was a real danger of premature death before Christ can say “It is Finished”. It was not inner weakness, or fear of death with which Christ had to wrestle. Luke, the physician, describes it: “…And as he was in the throes of death he prayed with even greater intensity. And his sweat becames as drops of blood which fell to the earth.”. The secret of the conflict in Gethsemane lives in the fact that death wants to outwit Jesus - The destroying angel wants to wrest the body away too soon, before The Christ has completed His work of filling the last vestige of the Jesus vessel with His Spirit – the Incarnation of the Christ had to penetrate down into the very bones to become fully human - fully united with the Earth. & so it is that early on Good Friday The Christ within Jesus is victorious, & death is repulsed with the help of the Buddha’s Angel Vidar, who fills His bitter cup with strength - & - The faith of Mother Mary & Mary Magdalene help hold the container - so that his will to remain united with the Earth when he goes thru death - is the fulfillment of his birth. At midnight, after the agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, culminating in the kiss from the betrayer - the band of soldiers seize him, & he does not resist. He stops Peter who wants to fight for Him, so that is he delivered, helpless, to those who scourge Him, press the crown of thorns on His brow, spit upon Him & strike His face. Thru this initiatory testing The Christ is fighting the invisible demonic forces working thru the powers that be, so that He can make His willing Sacrifice to bring healing into the evolution of humankind. The Christ must confront the worst of humanity, as represented by the 3 figures of Caiaphas, Pilate & Herod. Then the way leads up the ‘hill of the skull’ - And when the Sun is darkened during the 3 midday hours of Good Friday, it is the demon of the sun fighting against the God of the Sun - The earth is quaked - by the satanic death-power - as the anti-christ seeks to misalign the forces of the heavens. And Yet death can strip nothing from the sovereignty of Christ’s Spirit, or from His protection over Earth existence. In the midst of this darkness, the Mystery begins to manifest on Golgotha - The Body on the Cross begins to radiate light - an irresistible brilliance breaks thru the dreadful gloom. The Sun of Christ reveals itself in the body of Jesus, just as the physical sun suffers an unnatural eclipse. The dawning ray of Easter begins to claim victory over the darkness. In dying, the blood of the Christos streams from His wounds - the water of His soul goes with it into the body of the Earth. Later, the physical body is lowered into the grave - the Earth opens in an quake, this time like the ripple of a labor pain, as Mother Earth takes into Herself the human body fully pentrated by The Christ. The Earth receives the body & the blood of Christ, in a great Cosmic Communion - “The medicine that makes whole” - It is the beginning of the Spiritualization of all matter. This is the perfect Sacrifice of Love which Christ is able to accomplish for the whole of Earth-existence. ~hag, John 19: 1-27, Rudolf Steiner, Christian Community Priest Emil Bock The Christ speaking from the Cross:1. Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do - Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.~ Luke 23:34 2. Today syou will be with me in paradise - And Jesus said to him, Yes I say to you, this very day you will be with me in paradise. ~Luke 23:43 3. Woman, behold, your son! Behold, your mother! - Now when Jesus saw his mother standing there with the disciple whom he loved, he said to his mother. ‘Great Woman, see, that is your son’ And then he said to the great disciple, ‘See that is your mother’. And from that hour the disciple took her to himself. ~John 19:26–27 4. Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani -And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? ~Mark 15:34 And about the ninth hour Jesus called out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? ~Matthew 27:46 From Rudolf Steiner: “Every initiation into the mysteries of the spirit pointed to this coming of the Christ. This initiation was given in the yoga sleep, the Orphic sleep, the Hermes sleep. When pupils woke from their initiation, the words ‘Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani!’ would be wrested from their lips, they mean ‘My God, my God, how you have transfigured me!’ These words given in the original text of the Gospels are easily changed to the other version, which is: ‘My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?’ The fact that the evangelists rendered Jesus’ words from the cross in different ways is due to their different initiations. They saw the Golgotha mystery as an act in the initiation drama, and each of them had focused their attention on words and expressions that corresponded to what they were accustomed to seeing and hearing on that occasion. That is why Matthew and Mark, who was initiated into the northern mysteries, was able to hear the words: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” In the Nordic mysteries, in which the initiate had, as it were, extinguished his own soul life and merged with the cosmos, this other exclamation escaped him: “My God, why have you forsaken me!” The experiences he then had in the spiritual world gave him the answer to this question. These words are therefore not an exclamation of pain, but a repetition of the initiation ceremony and an expression of the overwhelming impressions that the initiate has received in the spiritual world as seen in Psalm 22:1. The writer of the Matthew Gospel directs his gaze to the separation of the inner nature of Christ Jesus from this divine element in His physical constitution. The author of the Gospel of Mark, on the other hand, describes the separation of the etheric body. Hence we find the same cry in the Gospel of Mark. While Luke, the therapist, who had developed a particular ability for great self-mastery as an instrument of the healing powers of the cosmos, naturally had to hear different words. In the temples where the therapists were trained, it was understood that the initiate’s own inner self must first be silenced if the spiritual powers of the cosmos were to be able to work through him, and the success of his work was based precisely on his ability to completely forget himself and to be only a tool for higher powers. That is why Luke heard the words from the cross: “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” For these were the words of the initiated therapist in the last act of initiation - and which Luke was accustomed to hearing. The ceremony of initiation was not the same in different temples, so they often gave the same events in different ways and in different words. So they also gave different versions of Jesus’ last words on the cross. The Gospel of John written by the disciple whom Jesus loved, initiated by the Christ Himself is the most important. The other evangelists were initiated in different mystery temples. So when they saw the same great drama, which had been presented in an exemplary way in the initiation temples, unfold as a real event in physical life at Golgotha, they knew that the great initiator of humanity had come and that they could now describe the initiation drama and apply it to Christ Jesus. According as they turned their attention to one or another feature of his life, they saw and understood different phases of it. ‘Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani!’ that is My Lord, my Lord, how you have glorified the I of humanity in me, making it spiritual.‘ That is the meaning of these words. There is a later translation which is wrong, taking up the lines from the psalm. But the proper translation of the words is the one you have now heard. 5. I thirst - After this, Jesus perceived in the Spirit: Everything is now nearing its goal and fulfillment, and, so that the word of scripture should be accomplished, he said: ‘I Thirst’.. ~John 19:28 6. It is finished - And when Jesus had taken the vinegar, he said, ‘It has been fulfilled, it is finished’. Then he bowed his head and breathed out his spirit.~ John 19:30 7. Father, into your hands I commend my spirit - And Jesus called out with a loud voice: ‘Father, into your hands I commend my spirit’. And when he had said this, he breathed his last. ~ Luke 23:46 The rending of the Veil in scripture:Exodus 26:31-34 “And you shall make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen. It shall be made with cherubim skillfully worked into it. And you shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold, with hooks of gold, on four bases of silver. And you shall hang the veil from the clasps, and bring the ark of the testimony in there within the veil. And the veil shall separate for you the Holy Place from the Most Holy. You shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the Most Holy Place.” Hebrews 6:19 “We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the veil.” Hebrews 10:19-20 “Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the veil, that is, through his flesh.” Mark 15:38 ESV “And the veil of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.” Luke 23:45 “While the sun’s light failed, the veil of the temple was torn in two.” Matthew 27:50-51 “And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split.” Revelation 11:19 “Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.” ‘I Think Speech’ Podcast for Good FridayIf you want to support the Spiritualization of the Earth thru the Biodynamic Farming done on Zinniker Farm, you are invited to become a paid subscriber to Cognitive Ritual: Confessions of a Modern Rosicrucian, with all donations going directly to the farm Here’s the link to a compendium of Free Video PresentaionsThe Cognitive Ritual is a Free Will Offering to All worlds.
