She sits with me in my meditation chamber - shrouded in her hylic veil of Light – Susurrating Hermetic secrets in her role as Keeper of the vast Arcane Mysteries – She cooks, & stirs the vortex, pulls in the chaos, & walks with me now in the winter naked woods – Her essence ever woven into the folds of twilight. As Fountainhead of the Astral-Ethers & Elements, she presides over the Sacred Science of Transformation— of which the profane tongues of ‘modern’ scientificity pronounce merely as chemistry, yet which, in truth, is the Thaumaturgy of the soul. Those who gaze upon her visage with myopic sight will mistake gold for god – But dear friends, the fabled transmutation of metals - was never literal - but symbolic / not diabolic! Proverbs 16:16 speaks: “It is much better to gain Wisdom than gold”- Psalms ring out: Union with Wisdom is “more desirable than fine gold”. Let us lift the exoteric mask concealing the esoteric truth = the ultimate transformation of lead into gold = Saturn into Sun. Those who cling to the illusion of material gain, ignorant of the sacred praxis of the striving Adepti, cannot understand the ones who seek, not outer wealth, but the inner sanctum - thru the 7 Pillars of Wisdom – in dedication to The Great Work – Building the Temple – to win the key - to open the 12 Doors of Divinity - thru a personal & Universal Cosmic & Earthly Transfiguration. O & Yes, it’s true, the path of the Rose Cross requires a willingness to meet dissolution - the annihilation of the gross substance of our soul-dross - to free the Geni from the bottle – to court the Spirit - to fructify the Virgin Womb - to restore the Prima Materia – to cultivate Apokatastasis, to resurrect & reclaim the Matrix of Genesis. Alchymia is the elevation of substance into essence, the raising of the fallen false light into the Wise Light of Love. In her most chasmal cosmic mystery, Alchymia brings a profound Metanoia - for she is the Gnostic Reverser – The Kabbalistic An-Soph-Aur – the first & the last – The whore & the Holy One - The sacred Feminine who turns corruption into sanctity – She who redeems the broken, with the fire of Mother-wit nous – the Thought that dwells in the Light. As Barbelo-Sophia, she brings her eternal light into the chaos - & as Alchymia, she dissolves the illusion of form, revealing redemption thru the obliteration of the material mask. Sure, materialism has its place here on earth, but if we stay fixed for too long, we get trapped in a false world that can’t hold Light, or Love – it fragments us - at every turn – splits us into a myriad of ‘things’ – possessions, rusty gears, dull tools neatly labeled - a Harvard Divinity Ph.D. crown on the naked emperor. So, how do we find our way back to the center?
