Today on this the Ides of March, with its ancient aura of betrayal, foreshadowed, but unheeded – swirling with the effects of the recent lunar eclipse – overlaid with Mercury & Venus holding back in retrograde – I am asking: What is it to be human? Have we sold our souls for Bigger, Faster, Better? … And is it - really? I mean why the hell does it take minutes for Netflix to load? And why would I even choose to spend my time in that mind numbing dungeon? All the media platforms are just placeholders for toxic products. My computer, & my so-called smart phone, are constantly sabotaging me. Do the bots serve us, or we them? Everything from the fake food we eat, to the atmosphere we take in with every breath saturated with space junk, chem-trails & electromagnetic waves - to the brutal economic elitism - to the divisive political prejudice & selfish mean-spiritedness – the corruption & slavery of organized religion - the corporate schooling systems … And the list goes on – all of it - makes it hard to be human. Yeah, so what about it? Well, what if we choose to see all these obstacles, all these horrors, as prompts – a wakeup call to deepen our spiritual practice - To hone our spiritual weapons – empowering us to counteract the assault on our core humanity. This is the most powerful tool our humanness provides, if we choose in freedom to take it up with good will. Together we can co-create an underground troop of human beings that will to practice Radical Love - working on the inner planes to dis-spell the spell of the false narrative - infusing society with Christ consciousness - to redeem the world. We incarnated at this time for a reason – we have a mighty purpose. We are meant to become - the quantum change - It is us - when our hearts are open to love - It is us - when our heads are open to forgiveness - It is us - when our hands are open to serve - We are human. ~hag 15 March 2025 – “Speaking with the Stars”: 42 BC – The assassination of Julius Caesar takes place Feast Day of St. Longinus – Christian legend has it that Longinus was a blind Roman centurion who thrust the spear into Christ’s side at the crucifixion. Some of Jesus’s blood fell upon his eyes & he was healed. The Golden Legend says that he saw celestial signs before conversion. Thru this miracle Longinus believes in The Christ. The story related in the Gospel of John, is that Longinus calls Jesus was ‘The son of God’. Because of this he is considered the first Christian convert. The name Longinus is found in the Acts of Pilate, a text appended to the apocryphal Gospel of Nicodemus. Longinus did not start out as a saint. An early tradition, found in a sixth or seventh century claims that Longinus suffered for having pierced Jesus – he was condemned to a cave where every night a lion came & mauled him until dawn, after which his body healed back to normal, in a pattern that would repeat till the end of time. Starting in the 6AD the “Lance of Longinus”, gets connected with the “Holy Lance” or the “Spear of Destiny”, which then figures in the legends of the Holy Grail. Feast of St. Christopher, bearer of Christ – The name Christopher from the Greek means “bearer of Christ.” Derived from the Greek Christophoros – Various legends surround his life. The most popular is that he was a rather ugly, giant born to a heathen king who was married to a Christian, who had prayed to the Blessed Mother for a child. Originally named “Offerus,” he carried people across the river for his livelihood. He converted from paganism through the teaching of a hermit, named “Babylas.” Again according to legend, one day one of his passengers to cross the river was a small child. As they proceeded, the child kept growing heavier, and Christopher feared that they would drown. The child then revealed Himself as Jesus, and the heaviness was due to the weight of the world that He carried on His shoulders. According to the Roman Martyrology, he suffered martyrdom during the persecution of Emperor Decius by being shot with arrows after surviving burning. The “Christ bearer” is the patron saint of travelers. (medals of St. Christopher & car medallions or pins are used by the faithful.) He is one of the “Fourteen Holy Helpers.” 1319 – Founding of the Order of the Knights of Our Lord Jesus Christ (Ordem dos Cavaleiros de Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo), was the former Knights Templar order as it was reconstituted in Portugal after the Templars were abolished on 22 March 1312 by the papal bull, Vox in excelso, issued by Pope Clement V1917 abdication of Czar Nicholas 2. 20 March 2025 ~OSTARA - Come gather in Conscious Community for the Vernal Equinox 6 pm Potluck Biodynamic Prep-Stir - a gifting to the Elemental Beings w/ ~hag Bonfire w/ CG Song Circle w/ UVA & friends at the domicle of the Lucchesi-Archer-Ginsberg kin & kind RSVP Hazel@CogRite.com The Tomb & the Womb – Rosicrucian Retort & Bridal Chamber w/ Mysteria Mystica Americana MAExploring the Vernal Equinox, with Leading thoughts by Richard Cloud, & the 100-year Anniversary of Rudolf Steiner’s Death – & the Lapis Exillis for the next Century.
