UNIQLO is excited to announce the release of a new UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) collection commemorating the KAWS + Warhol exhibition currently on display at The Andy Warhol Museum in the United States, which will also tour internationally. The collection will be available in UNIQLO stores and online starting August 23rd.
A Unique Collaboration
This collection brings together the iconic art of Andy Warhol (1928-1987), a pivotal figure in 20th-century art, and KAWS, a leading contemporary artist. Featuring a blend of both artists' signature styles, the collection offers a unique opportunity for fans to connect with their work. An art book for the KAWS + Warhol exhibition will also be available exclusively at UNIQLO stores in Singapore and online ahead of the general release by the publisher.

The KAWS + Warhol UT Collection, created in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, will be available exclusively at UNIQLO. The collection includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, coach jackets, socks, tote bags, and a children's lineup, featuring KAWS's popular characters alongside Warhol's famous imagery. This diverse range ensures that everyone, from adults to children, can enjoy the worlds of KAWS and Andy Warhol. Selected items from the collection will also be available for purchase at the exhibition.
Art Book Global Pre-Release
The art book for The KAWS + Warhol exhibition will be available exclusively at UNIQLO stores and online ahead of the general release. This book showcases the art of KAWS and Andy Warhol side-by-side, exploring new connections between two of the most influential artists of the modern era. It includes an interview with KAWS, essays by art historians and curators, and installation views from the exhibition.
The art book can be purchased through the publisher's website (Phaidon Press) from August 23, but it won't be shipped until the end of September. Customers who purchase the book from UNIQLO will receive a limited edition shoulder bag featuring a print with the KAWS character "BFF" and Warhol's banana.
Social Media Campaign
UNIQLO will also conduct a social media campaign, offering customers a chance to win a copy of the art book autographed by KAWS. Additionally, large displays of KAWS's "COMPANION" and reproductions of Warhol's artwork featured in the apparel collection will be showcased at UNIQLO stores worldwide.
