Just like two weeks ago, there's really only one song to kick things off this week, and, again like two weeks ago, possibly not the version you'd expect.
That said, it's a rather disappointing entrée; one would expect a tune by the band in question to be a much more fiery rockabilly affair, but this is a much more brooding number.
Never mind, things soon pick up, and we go on a riotous and rocking hour, a few dancey numbers lobbed in for good measure, before rounding things off on a distinctly middle of the road note. Don't let that put you off though, it's a right good sing-a-long mix from start to finish, even if I do say so myself. And I do. Just did, in fact.
I had hoped to get through a third succesive week without having to warn you of some effing and jeffing, but old Potty-Mouthed John Grant makes an appearance, so I need to warn you with one of these:
...and then we're off!
