It happens when waves approach the beach at an angle. We have learnt that this process links to erosion and disposition. Using a tray and water, we created our own waves by blowing on the water which represents the prevailing wind you would find at the coast. Then, after learning about sea defences such as groynes, we used a ruler to represent this in the water and investigated how they are beneficial for our coasts to stop the movement of materials. | | | |
