I sprayed my index-card-sized rectangle of watercolor paper with water, then laid out a stripe of red, a stripe of yellow, and a stripe of blue. My expectation was that the colors would blend on the wet paper and I'd have a mini-rainbow. That didn't happen. I sprayed it with water again and set it aside. When it was dry, the yellow and blue virtually disappeared. I was so disappointed. My thought is that my cheap Prang watercolors are to blame. (It couldn't possibly be me.) But I was too disappointed to post it as my offering for the prompt. I thought I might use it as a background eventually. Then, I thought, why not today? Tangle All Around's prompt for today is the pattern Axlexa by Henrike Bratz. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
