The children learnt about how we can carefully take cuttings to grow more plants, and leant about how this plant was commonly used in perfumes, sachets, and cosmetics to enhance beauty and charm at the time. In the modern day, the children learnt that it can be used to promote a peaceful sleep, and is still used as a fragrance today. Children then used their skills of creating tone with a 2B or 4B pencil, using real stems of lavender and drew the cuttings in their art sketch books.
