Sunday, June 30, 2013, I was blessed with a vision beyond belief. I miss my mom more than words can say.
I had falling asleep on the sofa but then I was suddenly awakened. What woke me were birds singing, like hundreds, if not thousands! I looked at the clock and its 3:33am. This happened from 3:33AM to 3:45am, the BIRDS singing! I then felt the need to pray in tongues and I did.
Suddenly out in front of me, off a way, I saw a deep red color rose, which was shining very brightly. As I was watching, the rose turned into a cross, which was also shining and very bright. I then started to hear what sounded like 1,000's of people singing, "Holy, Holy, Holy is God Almighty" over and over!
The cross disappeared as suddenly as it appeared. Suddenly in front of me, where I saw the rose and cross, I saw a wheat field. I watched as hundreds of butterflies, who also were glowing, flew upward, out of the wheat. I remember the top of the wheat was flowing, like from a very light breeze.
The next thing I know I was suddenly standing, looking down toward bare feet. My attention was then drawn to the left and I saw another pair of bare feet right beside the ones I had been looking down at. I was then pulled off to the right, out a way.
I looked back toward where I had been standing and there was Jesus in all His glory and who was beside Him, my mom! He had her right arm inside of His left, escorting her into heaven. She had a white robe on. She was so happy, so beautiful, smiling, and glowing. As I was watching this, 1,000's of people started coming toward them, welcoming her into heaven.
I then was back in my living room; I quickly grabbed my notebook and was writing down the following words. "They might not know it, but Mom is with the Lord now in heaven." At 3:45am as I just finished writing down, "she passed away", the phone rang. It was my sister-in-law who my mom loved dearly. She said your mom passed away. I said, "I know and hour ago." Telling her what time she past. She said, "Yes, how did you know?" I told her I would explain more when we got there.
I went in and woke up my sister in Christ, best friend and roommate, Pat. Telling her what I had seen. We then proceeded to head to her parents to drop off a few things before heading north to Mississippi. Halfway over to their home, I hear the birds again, they were in the car this time. I ask Pat is she heard them, but she didn't. It was still dark outside. We drop off the items, then get on the interstate headed north, driving 70mph. It wasn't very long that the birds showed up again in the car and this time Pat heard them! As we are driving, we see a beautiful rainbow and it last forever, for many, many miles, as we were going north, then we turned west.
After a while Pat decides she will lay the seat back and close her eyes. We were not far from a town in Florida that goes by the same name of the town my mom lived in Mississippi. As I came up on the exit sign for that town, a white dove comes flying past in front of the vehicle. It came from the right, going off to my left, toward the median. It then stops very quickly in midair as I get up to it. I looked straight at it as I fly by it. I could not believe my eyes and looked into the side mirror, but it was gone! I quickly tell Pat what I just saw. It was so cool!
Well, we get to my brothers, and we are sitting there, and I tell them we have something we want to tell you. Guess what, they say the same thing. My awesome sister in-law and one of her daughters was there with my mom. After my mom had passed, they walked outside for a bit and guess what they heard? BIRDS, singing! They are an hour behind; it was still dark there. We then precede to tell them what all happened to us.
There is no way to put into words the beauty of it all and the awesomeness of it all. To be blessed to see something like that. To be blessed with watching my mom being escorted by Jesus himself, into heaven, is still beyond words. Thank you, Lord, for the privilege and honor of being blessed with that. To know You and having You in my life and having received Your mercy, grace and forgiveness. Then to be blessed with dreams, visions, word for others and word from You, well, it's beyond words, how I feel.
