Chuck full of birds headed somewhere, anywhere, and singing at full volume, the sounds explode from the tree, an Alleluia chorus of music and joy. The Shapes of Sound is about that experience, but also about the atmospheric vibration and joy I felt listening to Dr. Ian Saunders perform in concert. The day after the concert, I intensified everything in the painting, pushing it up a few notches to intensify the effect. Live concerts are so amazing! Details below. Enjoy.
