(1) I was starting to stress over finances yesterday, when a sudden significant donation made my path towards Payday more doable. I'm generally grateful when donations happen toward the end of the month.
(2) Enjoyed talking with a dear old friend this afternoon, someone I've known since the mid-80's. Grateful for the bonds of lifelong friendship.
(3) The doctor's appointment went really well again. We decided I would keep the medication that was making me sluggish for use as needed for PTSD. So instead of taking the pills every day, I'll only have to take them once a month or so--whenever an episode strikes.
(4) Since I finished the package for my musical, I've gotten back into the habit of meditating. I can already foretell what benefits may awake. For a guy like me, even sitting still for twenty minutes is an accomplishment.
(5) There's a general spirit of cooperative good will at the local hub café these days. Sometimes in the summer, with all the students gone, the townspeople come out more. In fact, I think I'll head over there right now.
"At the end of the day, I can end up just totally wacky, because I've made mountains out of molehills. With meditation, I can keep them as molehills." - Ringo Starr
