(1) Slept 7 1/2 hours last night, for which I am very thankful, being as I'd only gotten four hours the night before.
(2) The $8 wired mouse I bought recently is frayed on both ends of the wire. My friend Rod agreed to exchange for a fully functioning wireless, so he can get out his soldering iron and do his thing. Nice of him.
(3) 5-K run on Friday. I hear a lot of other O.G.'s are going to show. I'll do a couple miles today and be prepped.
(4) After a week of taking Bupropion, I unilaterally discontinued it. While it wasn't treating the ADHD, it was making me progressively more manic and insomniac. I also noticed I was sending more emails than usual, and drawing very tentative conclusions--some of which I even acted on. The good news is that I requested Guanfacine which I knew would work for me. Even better news is that the doctor okayed it and sent a scrip to the pharmacy without making me go through any further hoops. Here's looking forward to calmer life, such as sleep o' nights.
(5) My first CD in about a year should be available later today. The set list is revealed here. I would say it's cleaner, less spasmodic, and less frenetic than my earlier offerings. Is it any wonder? It's the first CD I've produced where on not one single song was I stoned on marijuana. Here's to an ongoing recovery in the creation of new and beautiful world.
"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising up every time we fall."
-– Ralph Waldo Emerson
