To say that 2023 wasn't busy is such a joke! Stressing out with my job, and now I've got a significant other that has been taking up my time.
I told myself last year after your sister's wedding that I was going to step out of my comfort zone and meet people. You can't find your future partner by not going out and doing stuff! I finally struck up the courage and went on hinge. Can you believe the first try was a match?!?! J is probably the only guy that I've met on the app that was looking for love for all the right reasons. He's probably the first guy that I met on a dating site that I've actually kissed.
I've also realized in 2023 that I can't handle alcohol like I used to. I would have 1 drink of something and then get a huge migraine. It could be from being dehydrated, or it could be my age. I'm still up on the fence about it. For now, I just drink 1 cocktail, which surprisingly, doesn't affect me as much. I do get a mini headache after a few hours, but I'm always in bed by then.
As for my job, LOTS of crazy stuff went down. Some people got hired and some people got fired is all I'll say for now.
Overall, I miss you and hope I get to see you soon! The last time we saw each other was at Van's wedding and I really want to meet your BF too! Let's catch up soon! ❤️
