I went to bed early last night but found out sleep wasn't going to happen. Not long after I laid my head down, I had a vision. I quickly sat up and wrote it down. It wasn't a long vision, lasting only a minute or two but I saw it clearly. I saw a dragon in the sky and the ocean and seashore below it. I wrote it down, knowing I most likely was not going to sleep I went into the living room. Not long after sitting down I had a vision. I saw a cushion, like you buy for decorations for a sofa, then the cushion disappeared.
I then found myself walking in a field. I noticed a huge oak tree off in the distance and as I got closer, I saw the cushion. It was on the ground by the trunk of the tree. I walked up to it and turned, sitting down on the cushion with my knees bent upward. I thought "Thank you God for not having to sit right on the ground." I had only been sitting there for a just moment when I heard a noise. It was coming from my left, behind the tree.
I turned slightly to try and see what it was and that's when I saw them. There were three horses that came running by the tree. They ran past the tree and me and out into the field that was in front of me. Even though there were three my eyes went toward mainly one. It was so beautiful. It was light brown with a blond mane and tail which flowed as it ran.
I then suddenly noticed something in my hands, it was a notebook and pen. The book was against my legs to steady it to write in. The next thing I knew someone appeared to my left. He was dressed in white and had a white cloth/covering his head, it went down his neck and down some onto his body. He had a white beard and mustache. I saw his face enough to where I could tell his face was full not skinny. He sat down a little way from me but never looked my way. He was looking out toward the field where the horses were standing. Suddenly he lifted his left arm up and barely moved his hand out toward the field. The next thing I knew part of the field and the horses were gone.
Where the field and horses were I suddenly saw an ocean and seashore and above it in the sky were clouds. As I watched the clouds started to separate and as they did, that's when I saw them. There were angels, like 100's if not 1,000's of them. They were standing there in the sky like they were waiting. It was during this time that even though the man did not move his mouth I heard him speak. He gave me a verse, "Revelation 13:2." The vision then ended.
What really topped it all off is what Revelation thirteen says. I had no idea what 13:2 said must less what the whole chapter said. The very first verse says "And the dragon (Satan) stood on the sandy shore of the sea. Then I saw a [vicious] beast coming up out of the sea with ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten royal crowns (diadems), and on his heads were blasphemous names. And the beast that I saw resembled a leopard, but his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth was like that of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority." (Revelation 13:1-2). Remember, I saw a dragon, an ocean and seashore when this all first started.
I believe God was letting me see the angels and what will happen one day. That they are waiting and one day like Revelation 12:7-9 says. "War broke out in heaven, Michael [the archangel] and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels fought, but they were not strong enough and did not prevail, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, the age-old serpent who is called the devil and Satan, he who continually deceives and seduces the entire inhabited world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him."
Now what does the squirrel have to do with it, you may be thinking. As the vision was happening the enemy sent a squirrel to run back and forth on the tin mobile home roof. It was like it was playing, going one way, then back the next, the whole time. Trying to distract me to get my focus off the vision.
