DT#1727 One day Rama was sitting on his throne alone, aware of his loneliness, he heard, from beyond the gates of Ayodhya, Yama shouts "She is gone, He is gone. Now it is time for you to go. But that will not happen as long as Hanuman guards the gates of Ayodhya." Rama knew Yama cannot enter Ayodhya till Hanuman is guarding the gate, so he dropped the ring into a crack in the palace floor, and called out "Hanuman" immediately Hanuman takes the shape of bee and enters through the crack goes to Naga-lok he asked Vasuki which is Rama's ring in this heap of thousands of ring and he replied: "Did you think there was only one? As many rings, so many Rama. Every time ring falls into Naga-lok a monkey follows it and Rama up there dies. This is not first time it happened and this is not last time it will happen. Every time the world awakens and Treta yug begins, Lakshmi rises from the earth as Sita and Vishnu descends from the sky as Rama. Every time the Trees yug ends Sita returns to the earth and Rama to the sky. So it has happened before. So it will happen again!" Hanuman bowed to Vasuki for making explicit the implicit. Hanuman rose back through the tunnel and found an Ayodhya desolate without it's Lord. He followed the footprints of Rama to the bank of river Sarayu and learned how master walked into the river, chanting Sita's name, while Ayodhya stood on the river bank weeping. The householder Rama dies but the hermit Hanuman does not. +++ | | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
