The Collegiate Chorale is busy preparing for an OMEA" Ottawa Hills Music & Theatre Association Read on blog or Reader Choraliers Performed with the BGSU Collegiate Chorale Ottawa Hills Music & Theatre Association January 31 By Benjamin McMurray - OHJHHS Principal and Hayley Hoss - OHJHHS Vocal Music Director On Sunday, January 28th, the Choraliers had the amazing opportunity to perform with the BGSU Collegiate Chorale. The Collegiate Chorale is busy preparing for an OMEA conference performance next weekend and stopped at St. Michael's in the Hills Episcopal Church as part of a local Ohio tour. The Choraliers performed 3 acapella pieces of music at the start of the concert and joined the BGSU singers for "Homeland" by Grace Coberly, the traditional concert closer. Ms. Hoss said of the performance, "As I have been reflecting today, I want to drive home the idea that groups like the Collegiate Chorale start with great music education at all levels. You can't have a Collegiate Chorale without a Choraliers and I am honored to share the stage tonight with the kind of group that my current students will be joining in a few years when they continue singing past Ottawa Hills graduation."
