It's just as real as the air that you breath. Battles are fought every day, many by people you don't even know and never heard their name. There are the prayer warriors, the intercessors, the ones who spend time with God. They fight for their family, their friends, their country, their right to worship and many other things. They fight and pray for many people they don't even know. Yes, there are demons and heavenly angels. There is a hell and a heaven and there is a fallen angel called satan and there is a God! There is only one God. He made us, breathed life into us and knew us before we were born!
The Bible tells us, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places." Ephesians 6:12
It also says, "For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man. The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ." 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
