He was in the beginning with God." In the beginning. This is where we are now. The beginning of the church year. The beginning of opening our Advent calendars.  The anticipation has been building.  For clergy the planning, writing, and praying begins long before December 1st. Each year we know Advent is coming.  I found this scripture passage a good reminder that, although we have plans made with best intentions, that The Word, that Jesus, was always and is always with us. Regardless of our preparations for the big day it might be helpful to remind ourselves that God is always and is everywhere within us. Blessings for your Advent Season.
