If we root our souls in the word of GOD, then our behavior will be a reflection of JESUS CHRIST.
RIGHT BEHAVIOR REFLECTS THE RIGHT DOCTRINE.
Too many today are being led astray by false doctrine and as Timothy says in the New Testament we should not pay attention to irreverent and silly myths, vain discussions and irreverent babble and contradictions.
1 TIMOTHY 6: 20 "AVOID THE IRREVERENT BABBLE AND CONTRADICTIONS OF WHAT IS FALSELY CALLED KNOWLEDGE."
It seems today that most are caught up in this ridiculous babble.......that is what they seek and are satisfied with the silly myths of our society. All are looking for something, but not all are seeking GOD.
For those of us who know GOD and love HIM, we should continually root ourselves in the word so that our behavior will reflect HIS light to the world.
RIGHT DOCTRINE EQUALS RIGHT BEHAVIOR.
GOD can and GOD will change a heart of stone into a heart of flesh, but only HE can do this. I am sure we all have seen someone who turned to the GOSPEL and left their previous bad behavior behind them. Addicts live clean again, sexual deviants live a pure life and people who lie learn to tell the truth. There are so many more examples of this and I am so blessed to be able to hear these kinds of testimonies at Church when we have baptisms. It is true evidence that the right doctrine produces the right behavior, the kind that pleases GOD.
Let's check ourselves continually against the truth of the WORD, a true treasure for our souls.
JESUS IS THE WAY AND LEAVING THE RIGHT DOCTRINE FOR US AND WHAT IT SAYS ABOUT HIM AND ALL THAT HE IS, EQUALS A RIGHT BEHAVIOR FOR ALL WHO BELIEVE IN HIM AND WANT TO FOLLOW HIM.
JESUS made a way to restore sinners like you and me. HE is the way, the only way and so is HIS word, the only truth.
JOHN 3: 19-20 "AND THIS IS THE JUDGEMENT: THE LIGHT HAS COME INTO THE WORLD, AND PEOPLE LOVED THE DARKNESS RATHER THAN THE LIGHT BECAUSE THEIR WORKS WERE EVIL. FOR EVERYONE WHO DOES WICKED THINGS HATES THE LIGHT AND DOES NOT COME TO THE LIGHT."
So, come today to HIS light.......the light of HIS word will give you strength, clarity, guidance and above all, right behavior.
JOHN 16: 13 "HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL THE TRUTH."
