| jculler1972 Nov 2 | Our congregation used this Christian song during Holy Communion this week. It was written in 1982 by Eddie Espinosa, a pastor and worship leader. He realized that after being a Christian for years, he had become complacent and there were things in his life he needed to leave behind. He prayed that God would change the desires of his heart. Sometime later, the words and melody of this song flooded into his mind. He shared the song with his congregation, Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Anaheim, California, and its popularity quickly spread from there.
