Many times, out of nowhere I would smell a beautiful fragrance. Sometimes it would be like a mans cologne, sometimes flowers, sometimes fresh cookies being baked. A few months back I suddenly started to smell honey, very strongly and there have been other fragrances.
The reason I am writing about this is because I know from my own experience that God makes these things happen. I know without a doubt the scents, fragrances were not coming from inside our home, nor outside. There were times I would start to smell it and as I went into other rooms it followed me. There was no other explanation other than it was coming from God.
This morning I asked God for a verse that He would like me to read and this it what He gave me. "Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us spreads and makes evident everywhere the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of Him." (2 Corinthians 2:14). I love it when He does things where there is no other explanation, no other reason for something other than He did it! Like what happened back in June of this year.
A week or two before a conference I had a vision. During the conference they sang a song "Honey In The Rock" by Brooke Ligertwood. Until that day I had never heard the song, but I did have a vision a week or two before that day. I knew God was confirming the vision with the song.
In the vision I saw a honeybee in front of me. The next thing I know I was suddenly moving along with it, behind it. As we were moving through the air, I noticed something in front of the bee and me. The bee disappeared and as I got up to it, I saw what it was, it was a pile of thick golden honey. It was mostly honey, but it did have some honeycomb mixed throughout it. It was piled like three feet high, twelve feet wide and at least ten to twelve feet depth.
I walked up to it, then sat down in front of it, with my back toward it but I was almost up against the honey. I then turned slightly and reached with my right hand grabbing a handful of honey and started to eat it. I could taste the richness and sweetness of it. It was such an amazing vision. Then to hear the song like a week later, one I never heard before, that was cool! "He will feed you with the finest of the wheat, and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you." (Psalm 81:16).
God is an amazing and awesome God! When we listen to Him, are obedient to Him and keep our heart on Him, He can and will do amazing things. There were many other confirmations, this was just one. This morning was a reminder of how awesome God is and that nothing is impossible when it comes to Him.
"Jesus looked at them and said, With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (Luke 1:37).
