(1) Tracy just published my new column on the religious news site in Spokane.
(2) Sold a CD this morning & did the door again last night. I wish I could remember the name of the band, because they did a really nice version of "Heart of Gold" at the top of their set, and closed with "Desperado." I must have asked and forgotten their name three times now, but anyway they were good. That particular venue is interesting, too. They've got an Open Mike tonight as well.
(3) There's a synergy related to Eden in Babylon in the air right now. Amazing how four of the Kids from the pandemic workshop have already signed on, plus Tessa from down in Los Angeles. Ran into the mother of one of the other Kids who probably won't do it. We had an interesting conversation sitting in the cafe here. It may have all been part of the synergy.
(4) Life without smartphone continues to be liberating. When I take a break and sit on an outdoor bench now, I actually enjoy the open air and the scenery. No longer am I obsessed with playing with my smartphone. I actually enjoy the day.
(5) Though I've slowed down on the production of my new piano album Talisman, it promises to be far superior to its predecessors. I'm practicing each song thoroughly without recording them, and will only evoke a recording device when the time is right. Presently I'm practicing my song "Renegade," and it's certainly coming along.

-- Emily Dickinson
