A warrior for God, what does that mean? A warrior for God is someone who is not afraid to pick up their cross and follow Christ. They want nothing more than to live for Christ. Many of them will wake up early and spend quiet time with Him. Most will spend time reading His Word and some He blesses with visions and dreams. Some even hear His voice and spend time talking with Him.
They wake up every morning prepared for battle, waging war against that which is of the world. They want to do everything possible to help advanced God's kingdom upon earth. They have scars, some deeper than others, due to the many battles they have gone through. They know who they are, and they know they can move mountains. They refuse to be move in any way and in fact do everything to take back ground for God. If the enemy tries to stop them, they will figure another way around, coming at the enemy on all sides.
They are warriors, mighty warriors, warriors who refuse to be defeated. Warriors who will not negotiated with the enemy. They know who they are, and they know they "Can do all things which He has called them to do through Him who strengthens and empowers them to fulfill His purpose—they are self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency; they are ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses them with inner strength and confident peace." (Philippians 4:13).
They know in order to serve the most high God, they must deny themselves and stand for God and His Word. The word compromise is not in their vocabulary! For they are a Warrior of God! They are different, they are strong, they are resilient, and when wounded, they patch their wounds and come back even stronger! ARE YOU ONE OF THEM?
Matthew 16:24-25 "If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests] and take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. For whoever wishes to save his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], but whoever loses his life [in this world] for My sake will find it [that is, life with Me for all eternity]."
