What ominous words spoken by John the Baptist to a nation which missed their high calling of God. These words are still applicable for the church today and the nations. How ironic, the various "denominations" have laid their ax to Christ and the Word of God, the Holy Bible, thinking they know better than God. Nevertheless, the joke is on them God the ax of God is laid to their root! "Christian west" you have have chopped off your heritage and left Christianity. However, God is now using His ax on you! The remedy is to repent and return before the horrible carnage of the chop of God begins.
