Yesterday (Monday) was a very busy, but Christ-filled day. I didn't have the time to write much as I was busy mowing, working on a project, and sharing Jesus with one of our neighbors. By the time my wife got home, we ate dinner, played a little bit of a game, and then turned in for the evening. I attempted to get a piece done and published for you all, but the sleep took me before I could get it done. I tried my hardest, got a few paragraphs in, but fell asleep way too fast. All I remember was typing away, and then waking up to my phone being under my noggin.
I saved that writing for another time, because I just wanted to share with you all, that our bed finally arrived today! I got it in the house with the help of my beautiful wife. I then dragged the box into our room and got it all unwrapped and unfolded. Since it's a memory foam mattress you're supposed to let it sit for about seventy-two hours to let it breathe and expand. Thankfully it only took about 8 hours until it reached its maximum queen size. The bed frame wasn't going to arrive until evening, so what better way to pass the time, then by heading to the beach? So that's exactly what we did!
The water was a little chilly, but that didn't stop any of us from going in and enjoying the ocean. It was about 82 degrees out, and such a beautiful day! I caught a few waves with the boogie board, but none that were overly impressive. We sat in our chairs and relaxed for a few hours, soaking in that sun and refreshing ocean breeze.
After we were through with the beach we ventured over to the old military fort that's a hop and a skip away from where we were. We traveled to each of the old bunkers/artillery embankments, and got a few good pictures. Kinda like the one I took below:
It's so amazing to think about how the Lord paints us a new sunset each evening. Just like no two snowflakes are the same, neither are the patterns in the sky, or the people He's made! Psalm 19:1 says, "The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork."How great are You O God!
I love that my new phone has such a great camera on it, and I can take pictures that can capture this beauty from Jesus! I hope you all enjoy His creation like I do. Here's a couple other pictures from this evening (Tuesday night):
When we finally arrived back home, our bed frame had already arrived. I brought it inside and put it all together, and I'm currently laying on our bed while writing this! God is good!
The wife and I had another blessing I wanna praise Him for and tell you all about, but I gotta keep it a secret for the time being.
Thank You Heavenly Father for Your love, Your magnificence, and Your blessings! Thank You for how You create a new sunset for us each evening, and for the ability to praise You for Your goodness! Thank You for blessing the wife and I with our very own bed, and that we don't have to sleep on the floor any longer! May Your will be done, Your kingdom come, and Your name be praised O Lord! It's in Jesus' name we pray, AMEN!!
