Lynne led a very normal life with a boring routine that was the same day after day. She could almost predict exactly how every day would unfold. She would go to her diner, serve the same people, and then go home. She felt stuck in a rut that seemed to be her destiny. She longed for so much more. Would her life ever change? Just as she walked to the counter, she heard someone clear their throat. When she turned around, there was the stranger again, sitting in the same booth. "How in the world did he get in without me knowing it?" she thought. She went quickly over to the booth, throwing one question after the next at him. "Who are you and why are you here and how did you get in here without me hearing you? You can tell whoever put you up to this it stopped being funny yesterday!"
