I had a dream that I was standing at the surface of what seemed like an underground missile silo. Whilst looking over the edge and into the far depths, I felt nothing but love, joy, and the peace of God. Staring over an edge like that, you'd expect to have some very unsettling feelings, but it in fact was quite the opposite.
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." < Romans 15:13
Pretty soon the chamber filled with a golden liquid that shined so bright without ever hurting the eyes. It looked almost like a glass that was being filled with hot gold. As it reached the surface it began overflowing, and did not stop. It was washing over everything and making old things new again. Life and beauty was being restored to a desolate and broken land.
I remember waking up briefly and asking God, "What does this all mean O Lord?" Within seconds I was asleep again and the Lord revealed Himself to me in another dream. He told me that this silo was representing us as His children, and how the Holy Spirit and Christ's love fills and overflows - always abundant and in excess! He told me that when we feel like we're running on empty, that our perspective and perception is off; that our chamber's have actually gotten deeper, and that He's filling us with more of Him. We're never empty, just growing and being filled with more of His perfect love, and being more whole and full once again!
He went on to show me the land being restored and how when we accept Jesus as Savior, He washes over us and makes all things new and better than before! The pain and desolation we face from the enemy can't and won't stop the Lord's plans for our lives, His people, and His creation. Healing and restoration is here and ripe for the picking! He's the vine, the waterer, the sustainer of life - the giver of all blessings and every good thing!
"that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." < Ephesians 3:17-19.
The Lord speaks to us through so many ways and in so many different things - dreams being one of these. Numbers 12:6 says, "And He said, 'Hear My words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream.'" I felt the Lord wanting me to share what He revealed to me, so I'm being obedient to that.
I know there's some of you reading this today, that so desperately long for a deeper relationship with our Heavenly Father. Let me tell you now, that there's nothing stopping you from going to Him and having just that. Pray and seek the Lord in all things, and ask Him to take you deeper than ever before! We're here to live and serve Jesus.
I know there's some of you feeling tired, hurt, weak, weary, and alone. Go to Jesus and ask Him to make His presence known to you. Let His love wash over you as you sing praises to His precious and so holy name! Give Him what You're carrying and allow His peace and love to rain down upon you, and give you comfort!
I know some of you are holding out for a loved one or are trusting Him to perform His words in a specific area of your life right now. Let me encourage you by saying that God is working all things out for your good and His glory EVEN when we can't quite see it. Christ is faithful and true to His promises yes and always! Remember that! God is busting through barriers and strongholds for you and your loved ones! He is restoring and making all things new!
Trust the Lord, His plan, and His leading right now. He's got all this in the palm of His mighty and strong hand! Have faith, God's got this!
