I tried to go to sleep last night but I couldn't. I got up and walked into the living room and started speaking in a tongue I have never spoken before, walking back and forth in the living room. As I spoke my arms moved with some of the words spoken. I in time sat down and that's when it happened. I was given a vision and a story that went with it.
I saw eight large round wicker baskets and each one had a wicker top on it. The baskets were set in the shape of a "U". A king suddenly appeared in front of the baskets. The king walked over to the baskets, to the one to his left and with one hand flipped the top of the basket off. When he looked inside there was nothing, it was empty. The king then went to the next one and did the same, once again nothing was inside. He made his way to each one and all were empty, that is all but one.
When he came upon the fifth basket, the top would not come off, so he kept going. He then made his way back to the fifth basket. He tried everything to get the top to come off, but nothing worked. He then called those under him and commanded them to remove the lid. They tried every trick they had, but nothing worked. They tried to pry it open with swords and even tried to thrust the swords into the basket but nothing they did would open the basket. The king became very angry with those who served him.
I then saw a man, he suddenly appeared before the people who served the king. The man was a prophet and he asked to be seen by the king. The king allowed the prophets request. As the prophet stood before the king, he began to speak the following to him. "If you are bound and determined to open the fifth basket, the Lord will allow it and what is inside will be given to you. Think before you speak, for once it is opened it cannot be closed." The kings eyes were being blinded and his ears were closed off to what the prophet had spoken. The king looked angrily at the prophet and said, "Open it now!"
The words no sooner were spoken by the king when the top of the basket flew off. The basket moved upward into the air and what was inside spilled out. Inside the basket were dead man bones and they spilled out before the king. As the king stood there, the bones formed into bodies and breath was given from the Lord into them. A mighty army now stood before the king. The army then took down the king and those who served underneath him, leaving nothing but a remnant behind. A remnant that serves only one King. The One who has been given all authority over mankind, King Jesus. A great battle is to come. The one who has set himself in the seat of authority under false pretense will no longer be allowed to stay. The battle is mine says the Lord.
I was then given a chapter in the Bible to read. It was Jeremiah twenty-two. I could not tell you if my life depended on it what it spoke about. When I read it, I was in awe. It warns of Jerusalem's fall, then a warning to the kings. What was spoken about then, pertains to now. Different people and a different country. Below are a few of the verses.
Jeremiah 22:7-9 "For I will prepare and appoint destroyers [to execute My judgments] against you, each with his weapons; and they will cut down your [palaces built of] choicest cedars and throw them in the fire. Many nations will pass by this city; and each man will say to another, 'Why has the Lord done this to this great city?' Then they will answer, 'Because the people ignored and abandoned the [solemn] covenant with the Lord their God and worshiped other gods and served them."
Jeremiah 22:13 "Woe (judgment is coming) to him who builds his house by [acts of] unrighteousness and his upper chambers by injustice.
Jeremiah 22:18 "Your eyes and your heart are only intent on your own dishonest gain, on shedding innocent blood, on oppression and extortion and violence."
Jeremiah 22:21-22 "I spoke to you in your [times of] prosperity, but you said, 'I will not listen!' This has been your attitude and practice from your youth; you have not obeyed My voice. "The wind [of adversity] will carry away all your shepherds (rulers, statesmen), and your lovers (allies) will go into exile. Surely then you will be ashamed and humiliated and disgraced because of all your wickedness."
