The Letter—this film tells the story about the Pope's call to care for our planet. It will be shown in the Sacred Heart Hall on Thursday, 10th November at 7.30pm. All are welcome. It has a compelling message and is beautifully crafted. It captures the raw pain the issue is having on people around the world.

************************************************************************************** WORLD YOUTH DAY will be hosted in Lisbon, from 1st to 6th August 2023. This is the gathering of young people (18-35) from all over the world with the Pope. It is also a pilgrimage, a celebration of youth, an expression of the universal Church and an intense moment of evangelisation for the youth world. Although its Catholic identity is clearly evident, WTD opens its doors to everyone, no matter how close or distant from the Church they are. We would like to form a group from Rugby to participate in this amazing event. The goal would be to gather regularly throughout the year to get to know each other (for praying together but also eat pizzas or do various activities), and then to go together to Portugal next summer. If you are not part of the age bracket you might know someone close to the Church or not who might be interested. Please contact me if you have any questions Charlotte Toms email: charlottehubert72@yahoo.fr or contact Fr Matthew on fr.matthew.pittam@rcaob.org.uk There is a local group already preparing together for this important event next year. Why not find out more? Mass and Get Together for those interested at St Joseph's, Monks Kirby on 7th November at 6.30pm. Please contact Fr Matthew if you would like to arrange a lift.
