How much do you have stored inside?

Not long ago I emptied out a storage unit we had been renting. Like the unit, most of us have things we need to clear out of our life. We are like the storage unit. We store things inside us, some may not realize they are doing it. Just like a storage unit we put a little in it, then a little more, than more and before we know it, it's packed full. That's the way we can be in our lives. Little by little things are stored inside us, pain, hurt, anger, or unforgiveness. It could be we may be storing other things inside us, like being prideful, we have a controlling spirit, we want things our way or other things.

God can still work in us when we have those things stored in us, but it's a lot easier when we don't. We can get further in our walk with Him when we let go and let God have us. We need to empty ourselves, let go of things, stop holding onto things in our walk with God. We need to let go and let God have us. He can do so much more when we do. When we do things our way, when we get in His way, when we continue to carry things, hold onto things. It's hard for Him to work in us, to get us to where He is wanting our walk to be with Him. May we all become like the picture included with this. Completely empty, so He can fill us up with His ways, His will and His word.
